We are exhilarated to add A and A & MFI Quixotic to our herdsire line up! Quixotic is phenotypically gorgeous and his fleece is outstanding. As a very young juvenile his fleece won First Place and Grey Male Color Champion at the 2011 AOBA National Fleece Show…an amazing accomplishment for a juvenile grey fleece. In 2019, Quixotic was awarded Futurity Reserve Herdsire of the Year.

He passes his amazing qualities to his offspring including great coverage, thick bone, correct conformation and bite, and incredible fine fleece with excellent uniformity. Quixotic's progeny have continued to wow and impress even the most discriminating buyers and breeders...and judges! We expect phenomenal results crossing him over the foundation females at ACE. Jay-Z won best head at the 2020 Buckeye which was an amazingly large class along with his 11 champion black color banners makes him a very desirable male. He was still taking Color Champion after Color Champion at the very competitive Buckeye at 4 years of age! That is amazing. According to Amanda Vanderbosh Jay-Z displays the phenotype and fleece characteristics we are all looking for and it's amazing the fineness he is retaining at 42 months of age when she awarded him Black Color Champion at the 2021 Buckeye!

Andean’s Pegasus of Country Estates is our superb brown male whose first crias hit our show string in 2015. Pegasus has passed along brightness, fineness, & density to each cria that has hit the ground so far. His offspring have been awarded Color Championships, Reserve Championships and multiple Blue Ribbons, are key members of our show strings!
Pegasus has genetics from PPeruvian Caligula, 4Peruvian Andean Gold, & Snowmass Andean Bronze, & his sire, the stunning TB Snowmass Andean Midnight. His Sire is our own Snowmass Andean Midnight a beautiful, compact, true black “silky soft” male with an outstanding pedigree for fineness. His fiber is incredibly soft and shiny with a silky look and feel. It has a uniform low amplitude high frequency style of crimp. You have to see it to believe it!

What a handsome package this erect, solid frame, large bone male has! Then opening up an extremely fine fleece, consistent with uniformity of microns across the blanket is a true joy! Check out Hot Chocolate's DENSITY! Holy Moly! You would have to see the most elite alpaca to compare.
Both of Hot Chocolate's parents are Champions. He is the son of 9x Champion, CCNF Legionnaire, a 5-time Judges Choice winner as well as a Futurity Champion and AOA Reserve Champion. Legionnaire's 2015 micron test was, AFD: 17.9 SD: 3.4 CV: 21.2 %>30: 0.5 and mean curvature of 58.6. CCNF Legionnaire is sporting a very Elite and stunning linage. Hot Chocolate's paternal grandparents are Snowmass Matrix Majesty (Snowmass Matrix X Snowmass Simply Scrumptious) and 10X Champion, CCNF Magdalena (Snowmass Legacy Gold X PPeruvian Jesusa).
His dam, Amber Autumn Holly Ho, won multiple Blue-Ribbons in 2014-2015, as well as 1st place and Reserve Champion at the 2014 Best of the US show. Hot Chocolate's maternal grandsire is numerous Blue-Ribbon winner, Eclipse Alyst (out of Australian import, Jolimont 2 Peruvian Sweet William). Amber Autumn stated: "We purchased Eclipse Alyst because of his color, pedigree, and incredible dense fleece that has luster, handle, staple length, and very nice fineness. Eclipse always shears our heaviest weighted fleece even at 8 years of age and is still holding his fineness nicely."
Hot Chocolate’s first offspring have arrived and while there are only a few, they are gorgeous. We are astounded by their density, glowing brightness, independent bundles and micro-bundling, beautiful crimp and style, uniformity, and extremely fine fiber. In fact, their fleeces each have superior traits in all aspects. This covers beautiful frames with correct conformation, great coverage, and strong bone. Hot Chocolate is also producing offspring usually darker than the dam. The darkest is currently dark brown. We can’t wait to utilize these prepotent genetics next season and see more cria! PATAGONIA'S EL GALAN

Patagonia’s El Galan has an elegant, soft handle, buttery fleece, and is a strong-boned pure white herdsire that has recently had drop dead crias hit the ground. It is nice to finally select the right breedings for this magnificent male to see his full potential as a sire of champions. El Galan’s progeny truly remind me of what his sire, Patagonia’s Cayo, looked like when he was a juvenile. El Galan’s dam, Patagonia’s Fantasma, has a show record of her own, and is on our foundation herd. El Galan has a nice stature, very crimpy fleece that is remaining soft, bright, and silky. This sire is definitely passing on these wonderful characteristics to his progeny with bundling, beautiful structure, uniformity of micron count and color in their fleece, adding dense, dense fleece and staple length. During the 2017 show season, his stunning juvenile crias have received Color Champion, Reserve Champion, and Blue and Red ribbons.
